Bernicia was the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of the North, covering the modern-day areas of Berwickshire, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and Durham, in essence stretching from the Forth to the Tees.
We chose the name as the location of our homes and estates closely matched this geography, but for us Bernicia stands for much more.
We believe, following a period of change and modernisation, that we are now a significant regional business that people recognise, want to work for and with, and who operate to high standards and values – from which we will not waiver.
