Communities that Work Members

Communities that Work’s membership reaches across all regions in England.  See where our members operate.

Sadeh Lok was formed in 1988 to serve the needs of black and minority ethnic communities and remains strongly committed to achieving excellence in the provision of high quality affordable homes for these and other disadvantaged communities.

We own and manage more than 1,200 homes in the Kirklees, Wakefield, Rotherham and Sheffield areas. In April 2015 we joined the Incommunities Group, one of the largest social housing providers in the UK. The Group was formed as BCHT (Bradford Community Housing Trust) following the transfer of housing stock from Bradford Council in February 2003.

We have around 21,300 rented and 1,000 leasehold properties, a workforce of approximately 1,000 people and an estimated 50,000 customers.

We are committed to making profit for a purpose - responding to change, evolving and innovating, developing new housing options and developing partnerships to ensure the best possible outcome for our customers.
